<strong>Daniela Uma\u00f1a Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> y soy estudiante de bachillerato en la Universidad de Puerto Rico, recinto R\u00edo Piedras. Estoy en mi \u00faltimo a\u00f1o acad\u00e9mico y estoy aplicando a programas de postbac en neurociencia. La principal raz\u00f3n por la que tom\u00e9 este curso es mi pasi\u00f3n por la neurociencia y c\u00f3mo, a trav\u00e9s de componentes como neurotransmisores y neurop\u00e9ptidos, somos capaces de modular nuestro comportamiento. Adicionalmente, me interesa c\u00f3mo estos factores polig\u00e9nicos pueden influir en trastornos neurodegenerativos en nuestra poblaci\u00f3n, as\u00ed como la necesidad de enfoques terap\u00e9uticos diversos que se deben investigar para ofrecer a los pacientes una mejor calidad de vida tras su diagn\u00f3stico.
