On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, starting at 11:45 am (AST) at the University of Puerto Rico, Humacao Campus (UPRH) there will be a Nobel Prize.
Dr. Jennifer Doudna, professor of Cellular and Molecular Biology and Chemistry at UC Berkeley and winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry (2020) for discovering CRISPR (genetic editing method), will be offering a virtual talk for UPRH and all of Puerto Rico about her scientific career.
After the talk, there will be a dialogue in Spanish with Latinos/as working with Dr. Doudna. Among these panelists is Luis Valentin, a graduate of our campus, who collaborates with Dr. Doudna in her thesis project.
