The Yale Biomedical and Biological Sciences Diversity and Inclusion Collective (YBDIC)Outreach Branch is hosting its first annual Research Symposium on Thursday to Friday, August 11-12, 2022 to serve as a forum for community college, undergraduate, and post-baccalaureate students interested in pursuing higher-education in the biological and biomedical sciences to expose their research, gain professional development skills through workshops and talks, and network with Yale faculty, graduate students, and program directors. Through this symposium, we aim to increase student readiness towards careers in the biological and biomedical sciences.

The Yale BBS Diversity and Inclusion Collective (YBDIC) Outreach Branch aims to provide access to opportunities and resources in science education and communication, available at Yale and within its networks, with the objective of engaging, empowering, and advancing historically excluded, disadvantaged, and marginalized community college, undergraduate, and post-bacc students to increase their readiness toward biological and biomedical science careers.
