Our former and graduate student, Viviana Valentín, was recognized with the prestigious Gilliam graduate scholarship from the Howard Hugues Medical Institute at Emory University. Viviana worked with Dr. Gregory Quirk and Christian Bravo. She is the second NeuroID student to receive this distinction. The first to receive it was the Thibaut Pardo of the 2014 class of the program, and who will recently complete his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan.
